Really like the big punch makes the background all by it self.  The bow is a paper pow that was cut with the big shot then glued into the shape.

hello, it;s for you!

Loved the old time phone, and the hello words written vertical are quite different.  Not sure what I used for the background, leaves maybe.

Jet

This is the airplane stamp from the masculine set I purchased.  A jumbo roller did the background and I embossed the purple strip with circles.  Makes me a bit dizzy!

Faux embossed metal

Maybe it is not faux metal because it is aluminum foil.  I learned this technique from Bobbie.  Cut the card stock to size, wrap a piece of aluminum foil around the card stock and secure with regular tape on the back, then run thru the big shot with an embossing folder, and a cool masculine background!

Used a different punch at Billie's and did not remove both sides, so it looks like an interlocking puzzle which I liked the way it looked.

Masculine cards

New stamp set that is definitely a manly set!  Race Car, Jet plane, off road and a speed boat!  Combined with some great words at Billie's and a great man card.
The motorcycle stamp is from Billie and I liked the red and black.

Flowers in a pots

This is another stamp of Billie's that I like a lot, I do tend to make it as a sympathy card, but it can also be a great thinking of you card.  In the 'old' days I would  have wanted to color the flowers, but my style now says stamp it in a great color, mount it on coordinating card stock, add eyelets and ribbon and done!

Lovin' the different shades of green, can't go wrong with green!

Wings a flutter

Teresa designed this butterfly card for one of our monthly swaps, I like the details she included.  She used several stamps to make the background, words, flowers and then she sponged the edges to make them pop!

Since her butterfly was so great, I must have decided to use butterflies too!  I went for the bright colors and using just part of the butterfly which is a nice change.

Pink butterflies

Bright butterflies

Regal butterfly

Crushed curry and tempting turquoise

I do love to take photos of flowers, all kinds I have so many on my computer, I tend to leave the flowers in the garden as they last longer, so taking pictures of them allows me to bring them inside with me. I saw this idea in one of my stamping magazines, I figured it was a good way to get to use my flower photos and make a card at the same time.
