Off to Sherron's House we go....

Getting ready today to go to Sherron's house for stamping and a buffet lunch.  This is a card that I made at Sherron's in October.  She has a meeting once a month, where she has several shoe box projects that we can work on, she has a nice lunch of soup and salad and whatever anyone brings to add to the table.  

I will be going with my Stampin' Up! Upline Bobbie and her Upline Jana. Sherron is Jana's upline, so she is also my upline several generations later. I am glad to be a part of this group, I look forward to the stamping days, and Sherron always has lots of Stampin' Up! news and many samples to inspire us.

12-30-14 Almost 2015!

These cards are variations of the same design, not  much stamping, only stamped the words at the bottom, and I embossed them.  Embossing used to be my favorite technique, seems like I have forgotten about it.  It is an easy way to take the basic card 'up a notch'  Adds a WOW factor!













 These cards also use my favorite accessory, buttons, you just can't go wrong with a button!  The flowers were cut with the Big Shot and flower die, I used DSP from Stampin' Up!

I like the circles not being centered on each other, also using only a part of the Top Note die, something using the whole Top Note is over powering on the card front.

12-28-14 Post Christmas

The first 4 cards were made as a thank you gift, I stacked them together and tied them with a ribbon.  I used the same template for all cards, and even used the same Always Artichoke for the card base.  I saw this card design on one of the blogs that I follow, it is an easy template and can be changed as needed.  Also a good way to use up small scraps of DSP.
